By the 1920's, when this hearse debuted, McCabe-Powers were already making vehicles for undertakers for over 50 years. The '100 Series' vehicles were built on the Dodge Brothers Car Chassis and customized as ambulances, hearses and specialized to the customer.

No. 200 Combination Sedan was a complete seven passenger Sedan Pall Bearer and Ambulance body. The sedan body is mounted on the Dodge Brothers Business Car Chassis. While it is not visible, the rear of the vehicle has a door. When opened, the rear and middle seats can be removed to accommodate a casket.

McCabe Powers Body Company supplied many companies with delivery vehicles. Some of the industries that were supplied were newspaper delivery vehicles, florists, beer distributors, and grocers.
